The time has come for Trump to face charges.
Despite their proper labels, Trump gained access to confidential materials pertaining to the defence of the country.
He was notified by the US Government that he was not permitted to store the disputed materials at Mar-a-Lago.
Up until last month, he had the papers in his possession (and allegedly sought to conceal them in various places around the home).
As they say, that is the game.
The Justice Department appears to just have the option of choosing whether to wait or not.
Barring any unanticipated changes in the facts or the law, the grand jury should formally pursue an indictment after the elections.
