Comedy trick played on a rookie wide receiver by the Chiefs

In many NFL locker rooms, it is common for team veterans to tease the roster's rookies. On Saturday night, the veterans of the Kansas City Chiefs did precisely that to rookie wide receiver Skyy Moore.

Moore (seen above participating in May's planned team activities) shared a photo of his estimated tab for a Saturday night team supper on social media. The price came to a staggering $22,730.

He went into great detail about what transpired in an Instagram post, claiming that the bogus receipt was printed out as a joke on him

and that seasoned wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling covered the actual meal tab.

Moore was selected by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and he has a one-year deal for just over $1 million with the team.

Moore could have paid the dinner tab, but doing so would have been far more detrimental to him than to Valdes-Scantling.
